The Oncor New Homes Program launches a new market transformation program design that provides incentives to home builders who construct RESNET certified homes HERS® Index and the Energy Rating Index to provide a transparent third-party verified snapshot of the home’s energy performance. This incentive design provides builders and home buyers flexibility to ensure every energy watt is measured, and every dollar is well spent constructing modern high-efficient single-family homes.
Through the New Homes Program, you can save on the cost of newly constructed certified homes using HERS® Index and the Energy Rating Index (ERI) rating systems verified by RESNET Home Registry or equivalent. Oncor provides incentives to builders who prioritize the efficiency of new single-family homes and help customers save energy and lower energy costs.
Homebuilders may participate through HERS/ERI Program based on builder and home eligibility.
HERS®/ERI Program homes must be RESNET® certified homes.
